The type of scanner you need to follow those frequency hoppers is
called a trunk-tracker. The problem has been that there are several
"bands" that are in use by the different policias and at least a
couple of years ago nobody made a scanner for all of them.
CB still works as does the V1 but I am thinking about a laser jammer.
(Too hard to drive with NVG's and I'm too old for the training
classes - military helo pilot)
