I may not be much faster personally on my carbon fiber single bike than
I was on the old steel Stella Tour de France from 1973 (that's still
hangin' in the garage), but the TEAM of Laura and Randy can move it down
the road on our carbon fiber 30lb tandem (its only unobtanium if you
can't afford it!), which is a definite improvement over individual
performance for Laura.  Our terminal velocity is somehere just north of
60mph so far...
