Oh Paulie paulie paulie. I knew something was up when my inbox suddenly
filled with s-car digests. Congratu-friggin'-lations!!! 930!!! What a
score!!

So you on any of the Porsche boards yet? Pelican parts and Rennlist are
2
excellent sites. Kind of all business but some very knowledgeable cats
floating
around. How many hours have you spent just staring at it?

Freak opportunity eh? Well if you bought it right it should never lose
value
and may gain a lot. Early 70s 911s are insanely high priced now.

Careful with that boost around corners. 930s are notorious for going off
the
road backwards. No first had experience but I've heard stories. GO easy
on the
JNR!! Can't wait to hear what a 930 is like to drive in your words.

Heh, thanks man!!! I'm not yet on those boards but plan for Rennlist.
Pelican... hmmm, not such great experience there, long story back when
Brian had an '89 with a built motor I was their briefly and they were,
um, pretty sad there. Def. enlighten me oh Former Owner!!!

You're right. I could / will just sit and stare @ the thing endlessly.
It's def. one of those cars where you can get lost in a perpetual gaze.

Def. on the value. I'll always be OK in this thing.

It's pretty easy to drive, even @ a good hustle. I'm no Walter Rohrl
and will need countless hours of practice before I feel comfy pitching
the rear out around corners in a permadrift of course! That takes
kahonas - one's that I'm not sure I'll ever have. I'll barf out a road
report later, I put on about 200 miles this weekend (see my GT3RS post
from latelate Sat. night, muwhahahaha JNR indeed).

Thanks again for the thoughts. Keys are in it should you ever be CT
bound again, butofcourse!

-Paul
