[s-cars] Coil and POS woes

I know the feeling. On S6 #1 (sedan) I chased and chased and eventually did
a successful POS rewire, but I never felt another failure right around the
corner. When S6 #2 (Avant) hiccuped for the first time I didn't hesitiate -
I got right on the phone and ordered an 034 HO kit. Of course while I
waited for the kit to arrive the car never missed a beat, but I nonetheless
tore all the stock stuff out and replaced it as soon as I got it. Heck this
is a problem with a bolt-on answer.

There are those who will say the HO kit is extreme and less expensive
alternatives work just fine, and they may well be correct - but I haven't
worried about ignition since I installed it. Now I only fear the multitude
of other things I know which can (and probably will) go wrong...
