[s-cars] cars] Momentary cut out under full boost

Aaron,

Per our discussion your speedo indicating zero before it happens is
potentially a problem and the first place to look.

The signal from the speed sensor goes into the ECU. The ECU reads this signal
and sends a pulsed signal to instrument cluster. It also uses it to control
the AC ... maybe others. Although I do not know if it read 0 it would cutoff
the ECU under boost.

If your speedo goes to 0 it could mean

1) Speed sensor going out or bad connection. (not sure if ECU cuts boost
under these conditions).
2) ECU going bad.
3) Bad connection to the ECU. Momentary short somewhere causing the ECU to
glitch.

Best regards,
Feico van der Laan
