TRW has a couple versions of this system, active and semiactive roll.? Active actually moves the end link mounting points to increase effective bar stiffness.? Semi Active is more like a coupler, where there is no roll bar in a straight line (decoupled), and then it's coupled during turns.? The former is more likely found on the BMW, the latter more likely found on an SUV

yup. the real question is whether the BMW system works on flow or
pressure. the solution I described is pressure only and has no active
components. I like simple.
