[s-cars] Subject: ticking- should i worry?

Floyd, I change my oil at approximately 4000 miles, with mobile 1. Everyone
on the list will tell you to use synthetic. I'd say if you indulge in a lot
of very spirited driving at high RPMs you may want to change it at 3000. You
probably can go 5000 w/o worrying. Just use high-quality filters (like
Mann), not the Fram crap from Wal Mart.

But, I'm guessing that you've just opened a big can o worms for the list.

Nothing like oil to get everyone all excited. ;-)
