[s-cars] Subject: ticking- should i worry?

Jumping in with both feet and an elbow.
I use Castrol 10W50 and after spirited driving always check oil
levels. I can push about a litre of oil out the engine every 1500
kilometers with spirited highway driving. So with a good filter,
changing oil at less than 6 or 8000 km does not make a lot of sense
to me - or my mechanic (he and his father have worked on audis and
URS's for a long, long time).
