I forget if the red harnessed motor or blue harnessed motor controls which
group of vents, but someone knows, or I could check the manual.
But either way, its not that bad of a job. Theyre fastened to the same piece
of plastic tray that needs to be removed.. Either way i'd want to pull it
apart before I ordered to know whats really broken. Ive repaired several of
these on C4 body cars and all have had different failures, ranging from $10
to $100 in parts..
My own personal car recently had a lever arm(white plastic) broken and I
replaced it with used from an C4 I stripped. And if the same is the case for
you, Im not sure if 'new' can even be bought..
If you did it yourself, not knowing what you were doing, but,, relatively
mech. inclined,, Id say 2-5 hours :) keeping good track of your fasteners
and order of attachment..
youre looking at $300 or so dealer labor cost. and if you were a customer
of mine id be happy to do it for $100,, indy shops familiar to your chassis
shouldnt be that far off.
good luck.
