It's not impossible.  The two front holes are there, you can just loop a
cable around the tranny and through the back two holes if you want.
Obviously this is not factory.

I thought somebody figured out how to retrofit that bracket?  If you
think that's impossible, I'll make a note of this email for future
reference  (I don't think my tranny's going to last the life of my car).

Just be aware that un a 93, you will lose procon-ten if you swap to EDU.
Only two of the 4 bolt holes required for the procon-ten bracket remain
on the EDU transmission.

JR,

I would personally shop for a low mileage EDU 6 speed transmission.
The gear ratios in that trans are very nice.

I had a 6-speed EDU shipped to me and shipped a 5 speed to somebody 
else via Bax http://www.baxworld.com
