I don't know if the battery charge had anything to contribute to the airbag
clockspring. I got mine used for about $100. I'm sure Shokan in NY can
supply one.

I would reset my diagnostic but it would eventually return, not immediately,
eventually. I finally gave up, bought the part.

Maybe you just need to clear the diagnostic. At least try that once.
