[s-cars] BBK parts list

I had lines made up by Paragon Performance. I've worked with them so they
have the lengths and fittings correct for the 993tt/928gts rotors up
front/stock rear calipers. Uses banjo fittings to mate to the P-calipers.
Not sure current pricing, but I think I paid around $100 for all four lines,
with a clear PVC coating to protect the braided lines.

I didn't verify all the part numbers, but I'll make a couple comments...

The long bolts you have listed, that's the correct part number from the
Porsche catalog. It's M12x1.5x72. The shorter one (bracket to strut)
is M12x1.5x25. I didn't buy these by the part number since that size is
available generically (got mine from ECS, bolt depot probably also sells
them), so you're p/n may be correct. However, make absolutely certain
that the bolt you wind up with here is M12x1.5x25, not M12x1.25x25.
Torque is 63 lb-ft on all eight of those.

Lines...had some trouble tracking those down. I got mine from PureMS.
They're listed for an A4 having Boxster calipers, but the fittings on
the car side are the same, fittings on the caliper side are the same,
and the length is plenty sufficient. Believe it was 405mm, but not
certain. Believe stock C4 is 370ish. Roughly $100 for the pair.

Not sure if it matters which suffix for the A8 rotor. I think any
323x30 for the D2 chassis should be correct. I don't think they changed
the hub offset anywhere in there. If you're feeling spendy, get the DBA
5000 series from TireRack or TopBrakes and let me know if they get
twisted in a month.

If you're just replacing the fluid for the front brakes, one litre/quart
should be plenty. If you're doing all four corners, there's an outside
chance you'll need just over one bottle. Annoying when that happens.
Personally I'd just get one, do the fronts first, then go for the rears
and if you run out, no big deal. The fluid inside the calipers is what
gets super nasty, so if you just squirt that out every six months or so
you're ahead of the street car curve.

Also...you do know you have to switch the fittings around on the 928GTS
pipes, right? It's not bad, just use flare nut wrenches on the
crossover pipe and don't torque them into your brand new aluminum
caliper too hard or you'll cry.

-Cheers!
