[s-cars] Oil Again!

The only Mobile 1 to buy is the 5w40 Turbo Diesel Truck (aka Delvac) which has all the expensive ingredients. The 0w40 has been shown not to last. All the other M1 product is inferior with cheap ingredients mixed with dino oil. Mobile 1 cheapened the recipe but kept the same prices (con artists). Check out http://bobistheoilguy.com

Costco sells M1 Turbo Diesel Truck & there is a $8 Mobile 1 coupon this week in the Costco mailer.

I use M1 too. Get mine from WalMart...usually they have it in 5L jugs.
Whatever their heaviest weight is (15W50, same as you). If you can'tfind that then just about anything of similar weight/quality will do, especially if you're religious about changing it @ 3-4K miles.
I let mine go 5K (I can hear the collective gasp) usually.
AMSOIL is fine, overpriced though if changing oil frequently IMHO.

Spring has arrived and time to replace the oil. Have been using Mobil 1
15w50 for my summer oil but no one has it around here. Spoke to my local
wrench and he has Motul, I believe he said 20w60.

What you all think. Also can get AMSOIL from not too far away. What do you
all think of AMSOIL? ?What grade, 5w40?

I'm leaning towards MOTUL.

TIA
