I do have a few criticisms of the RS America:
A lot of them came with all 4 options (sunroof, A/C, radio and ???). That
defeats the purpose- IMO, Porsche should have never offered a sunroof on the
RS America.
They did not offer, even as an option, those forged magnesium wheels that
the real 964RS came equipped with.
They should have offered the RoW RS springs as a trunk kit.
No lightweight flywheel and short shifter, which the real 964RS had.
The 996GT3 is more my style, in terms of level of equipment, the 997GT3RS is
damn near perfect, esp. now that they have those lovely carbon shell seats
for the US market. Only thing I don't know if whether PCA or other
organizations will accept the folding shells as a proper race seat (PCA
stopped allowing harnesses for reclining seats).
That's really nit-picking, though.
