[s-cars] Anuther AAN?

My Baloney had a first name:

wondering what to do with my left over broken AAN? Can't just throw it
away and live or show up here again. Not even sure whats wrong with it,
but will surely need valve job, and new rings with whatever else goes
with that. Since either the engine (126k,) autotranny, or both are just
about done on my 94 cabrio, I am thinking of fixing the aan and
installing there. I would need a trans. then too. I wouldn't go whole
hog hapersized (WHH)tm since really it's not a great platform, but a
fairly straight unmodded aan would be real nice. I don't know if this
would even fit or what I need to make it fit? It's and FL cabrio so the
body and chassis is perfect. I also have a company car... 95 quattro
sport which could use it. That's a faded red but a real nice jacquard
sport interior. Best winter car there is. Votes, thoughts comments would
be appreciated. Third option is to sell it so someone here, which is
nice cause it would bring a few bucks in instead of a number of thousand
going out. It might also help wifely angst of being married to a goof
with four cars and only one allotted garage space in addition to not
having time to work on them all. I do have some off site storage
available. I dunno. I just dunno. So here I am. Thoughts?

Well, just to be the ongoing Devil on Yer Shoulder here...  IIRC Colleen
still has a 5spd box that Bill Perron had hoped to convert his cab over
with and that she'd like to see it go to a good home.  If you hurry
maybe it could get "tossed into the ahem trunk" today.  Abe would know
better.
