Guys
I have a pair of 93 S-4 Ecru seats (Driv. and Pass) for sale in Kansas City.
They came out of the S car I am preparing for Bonneville and Pike's Peak.
They are VGC with respect to leather wear and padding. I will sell them at a
reasonable cost to anyone who can make use of them.

I know that many on this forum have posted about their success or lack
thereof in dealing with worn and deteriorating leather interiors,
particularly the dreaded "driver's side bolster" wear. I thought that some
might find this thread from the Pelican Parts 911 forum interesting:

Pretty amazing results, at a price that we all can live with. I'm thinking
of going this route on my ecru interior on the Avant, now that I've seen the
pics.

I mixed some mink oil with black shoe polish (the paste type) and applied it
to my bolsters with a brush and let it sit, then budded it out, just like I
was polishing shoes. Turned out great. Didn't take any pics but I thought
it worth my effort.
Not sure what i'd do with ecru though.

Exactly. . .
If I had a black interior in my car, I'd be stoked. But short of swapping in
a new black interior, I want to do something for the long term health of my
interior. It's still OK, so preventive medicine should do the trick.

2 questions, 1 observation.
Observation - the results do indeed look amazing but my internal BS meter
was bouncing wildly as the before and after photos were from very different
angles with very different lighting.
Question 1 - Am I from the wrong culture or country to understand what
"budded it out" means? I have never heard the term before. How does one do
that?
Question 2 - Where does a person acquire the product?
