[s-cars] Tires for urS4? - want opinion

what size are you running?  i wonder if that has anything to do with it.  i'm using 225/50/16 on stock 16x8 rims.

My KDW-2s are HORRIBLY LOUD.  Last summer I thought they were awesome.  This
summer, a couple of months in, they started to get loud and now they are
damn near unbearable.  Even though they have way better than half the life
left I am thinking about replacing them.  If anybody wants a great set of
weekend racer track tires that aren't all out DOTs these would be pretty
good, but if you want them on a daily driver - forget it.

my g-force T/A KDWS probably have about 25k-30k miles on them now and
they're still quiet.

I'd like to know how noisy they get at half tread depth. That seems to have
been the
rep of the entire G-force series. Great tires, for half the life. I'm
considering them myself
for the Saabaru as the GY's are getting dicey in standing water already.
