Sounds like you had a lot of fun. Twice I have been shot down in my attempts 
to get on the 'Ring. 4 years ago the two days I had available ( a Tues and 
Wed) they did not have "Touristenfahrten" to run. This March I was there and 
they were repaving, grrrr!!! With my relatives in the Trier area ( 'Ring 
practically in the back yard) you would think I could get on the track.
