when mine acted like that it turned out to be the hose had come loose at the little filter thing inline in the boost hose to the ECU, this is located at the firewall under the plastic cover over the POS and harness plugs.HTH............drQ

Good morning.
Suggestions needed.
Trouble shooting a loss of power at 5PSI boost and higher.
This 1993 S4 acts like the entire fuel flow is interrupted, briefly,
until I let off the gas pedal.
Car runs smooth at up to 0 psi (yeah! What fun is that)
Soon as I roll into da boost, engine power is severely limited. Bogs
down best way to describe it.
I limped home last night at 0PSI.
Replaced Fuel pump in summer 2007
Replaced Fuel filter on Dec 1 2008, last Monday.
It's NOT a mis-fire of a single cylinder.. because it acts like fuel
cuts off altogether.
Ran output tests today and all that seems AOK, using SJM website.
Read the ECU codes after a last night (rest area stop) and today (engine
running) got a 2341.
Oxy Sensor Control limit reached..
To DO: Boost leak test this morning..
LMK because I gotta get down to the GOF in bustling Nelson NH at Mike's
house tonight.
