[s-cars] BB Upgrade - rotor question

Thanks Sean. I already have an e-mail in to Brendan at Apikol.

As for A8 rotors, there's an article around where an S2 owner interchanges
the A8 314x25 with the 323x30 rotor with a 986 caliper which would suggest
the offset is the same.

Cheers,

Tony
96 S6 - with fingers crossed!

Tony:

I'm not sure on what the specifications are for the C4 caliper but based on
your post, they are obviously designed for a thinner rotor. Maybe this would
be similar to the BIRA System 1, which was a Boxter caliper over a 312x25
rotor from the older A8.

Regardless, if the Apikol bracket is designed to work with the 323x30 rotor,
it will likely not work with the 312x25 rotors. Not only are they 5 mm
thinner, but the hat offset may be different too. Also, you will need to
confirm that the mounting hole spacing matches too. Perhaps Apikol can
provide advice on this.
