I have to admit, I have a soft spot in my heart for the '70 Z... especially with the split bumper.? That is a really nice one, although some of the pics of the engine compartment make me curious about the miles.? Clearly the "climate controlled" environment wasn't quite up to par... a bit of a shame the way the EMs, IM, and various other engine parts have corroded.
In any event, it doesn't? get much better than that after nearly 40 years.? I'm really curious about the selling price.
Having owned a '69 SS 4 speed for about 5 years starting way back in '83, I do have to remind myself that they are nicer to look at than to drive.? Nonetheless, that thing is awesome.

Forgive me if this story has been posted before; I only get the digest
and only bother to read it if I see the word "scirocco" in the topics.
;-)
The only thing that makes me feel better about not owning this is that
the guy who does appears to be in a much better position to care for
it properly. I'd probably do something crazy - like DRIVE it!
