Igor,

Wanted to touch bases and let you know two things - #1 I'm an
Oregonianite (is that a word) but in Salem, not Eugene, regarding
picking up and shipping the mysterious 2x2x2x55lb box you wanted help
with. Would they be willing to ship it up to me in Salem? A bit late
on the response, but I still might be able to help...(I could also drive
down there if ya just gotta have it...)

Second, I'll echo others that responded with the Phattie opinions -
converted my S6 Avant and my wife's Allroad and think they are both da
bomb! I'm currently driving around the empty side of Oregon (east of
the Cascades) practicing French lessons before next years big bike
adventure across the pond. You can search by artist, playlist, album,
etc pretty easily. When I was huntin, they were available on fleabay
and other places. One was cheap (thanks little brother), and the other
I paid about $200 for; seems that was the typical price at the time I
was in need. I also had to replace the harness cable from HU to the
Phat box for another $65 or so IIRC, hook up the K line to the Concert
unit, and modify some mounts for stickin' it in the place of the CD
player. Couldn't compare it to Ipod integration, but I like the fact
that its out of the way and works (and the Concert didn't need a
security code).

Let me know if you still need some help on the Eugene thing....

-Randy

Gents,

the trunk mounted 6-disk proprietary CD changer of dubious user
friendliness
mated to the OEM Delta of questionable sound quality has finally given
up
the ghost. Ok, thinks me, now it is time to step up to the 21st Century
and
get something modern and convenient to use. A quick search on Audiworld
(gasp, I know, I know...) lead me to the obvious choice: a Concert I
radio +
Phatbox. I already got the radio, for 18 bux I might add (gotta love
ebay)
only to find out that Phatnoise is no more. Does anyone know who might
be
selling the old stock of these systems?
