Doug,

Don't know whether you did this, or if it totally works, but;

I have heard it recommended to run the tank near empty and throw in a can
(or two?) of dry gas. 

To me, if the car stays running, alcohol should run pretty clean but I don't
know at what mixture % it may cease to run.

Also, FWLIW, having BTDT, you may be approaching a point of needing some
valve work.
