Varon,
I had the EXACT same problem as you some months ago.
Actually, the last time the timing belt was change(summer 2008), timing wasnt done right. Instead of looking for the notch on the flywheel, i timed it with the front accesory pully.
For some reason when the pully mark was align with the notch on the oil pump housing, piston #1 wasnt tdc...quite far actually about two camshaft teeth! The motor still started that way.
After discovering that, i retimed it with the notch on the flywheel and a dial guage in cylinder hole #1.
No problem now.
