Hi Teddy-
When the coils failed, it felt just like a cylinder was taken away. Once it
had progressed to this point, however, it did occur to me that I had felt
some odd behavior in the day or two prior, specifically a rough idle.
Complete failure was obvious about the entire RPM range, and especially at a
loaded low rpm state, i.e., mid throttle, 2-2.5K rpm, 3rd gear.
WOT miss is an entirely different thing. Or things. Sometimes, I can hear a
ping, and the knock sensors are backing things off, in a stuttery, slow
sorta way. Othertimes, it seems to overboost, and cutoff is sudden and
complete. My wife and kids keep me pretty busy, so I have not been able to
look into this for, ummm, a couple of years now. So 7/9 throttle is where I
am at, and mit RS2, that is more than enough to get me in trouble....
Is that a "stock" 155K 92S4?
