Volkswagen thing with a fringed top says island car to me--local
paint job, too. I'm
not sure any original island vehicles still have an undercarriage.
You might have
to import one or a jeep.
The pilots license and a flying club sound more useful than any
performance car.
That means unlimited opportunity to visit the rest of Hawaii.
