[s-cars] ATF fluid in the reservoir : What to do?

--------- Thanks , Chris. I am going to have to do the work, I think. I don't want that shop to have anything to do with the car again. I am thinking of a lawsuit , for this problem and others. I'm just looking for some How To/BTDT for flushing/bleeding. I can just siphon most of the fluid out of the reservoir, but the details of flushing I'm not acquainted with. I've done some brake bleeding yrs. ago, ie., have some one pump the peddle up hard and then I turn the bolt/nipple at each wheel until all the Red Stuff is gone and no air bubbles. It has been the car for about 2months but has not been driven at all-- won't run. ... Stephen '85Urq

  Stephen,

I'd be concerned that the fluid could damage seals in master cylinder.

I recommend having a qualified tech remove all fluid from the
resevoir and then immediately flushing the system.

The shop that made the mistake should pay for the service.

  HTH
  Chris
