Calvin has some good ideas here to resolve your echo, Dave. I'm assuming
that you did, indeed, install both insulation and drywall in your garage
since it sounds like a major project. You may want to hit Home Depot and
grab a few of the foam insulation panels they sell. These come in varying
thicknesses. You're probably already familiar with what I'm talking about.
Installed judiciously on the ceiling and walls, they should absorb plenty of
sound. The thicker the panel the better the results.
However, if you've yet to insulate or drywall. . . .well, I'd start there.
