Hey Alan,
maybe you could try doubling-up hose clamps (side-by-side) if the piece coming out is long enough?  Worth a shot anyway.  Otherwise you're looking at replacing the expansion tank.

People are always parting these cars so it shouldn't be too hard to find a used one in decent shape.
