The EDL switch and the ABS are integrated. I am
currently having a problem with my 1993 100. At air
temperatures above freezing the green light in the EDL
switch located in the console and the ABS light in the
instrument cluster flash on and off in unison. As the
air temperature rises, the two lights stay on
continuously and the diff is locked. I suspect there
is a resistance change in an electrical component
somewhere. It's been too, damn cold to investigate
further. I can engage the rear diff with the switch
when the car is stationary and the diff dis-engages
properly at about 10 MPH. The ABS is off light does
not illuminate when I engage the diff with the switch.
Puzzling.
Best regards,
Dave
