[s-cars] What to look for in a used B5 S4

Yeah, they're not the easiest to work on.  Takes me 45 minutes to change the spark plugs.

I think most of the horror stories are from people who either didn't maintain their cars or bought one used that was pounded on.

Well, I need to be schooled on the B5.  I could tear apart a CQ in my sleep.  I haven't laid a wrench on the S4 yet.

I got tires of working on my car all the time, that's why I bought the S4.  Mine has been reliable but I was just warning of problem areas.  Believe me, there are horror stories out there...

This car has certain wear items that go out, just like the UrS4's.  When buying a used car (like any used car) you need to try to find one that's been maintained, if it has, it should be very reliable.
