Dennis:  I can't vouch for the 200 20vt 3B Bentley but for the three Volume C4 Audi 100 A6, knock
 sensor info is under Section J (Fuel Injection and Ignition, AAN) and then in the J section index
 under Section 28 Ignition System, last item, Knock Sensor checking, indexed to page J 28-27.  On
 that page, it states:

"For satisfactory functionof the knock sensors, exact compliance with the tightening torque
 of 20 Nm (15 ft lb) is important".

The real trick is how to get in there with a (small) torque wrench without removing the
 intake manifold.
