[s-cars] BBK Issue

no, the 1mm off-center shouldn't be an issue as long as the rotor isn't rubbing against the bracket or caliper. even if the rotor isn't centered, the pistons should push the pads with equal force on both sides, although one side will have slightly more displacement than the other.

Okay, I'll make a wheel bearing concession/theory. For your consideration:
Concerning the milling issue on the RS2 brackets. I think we've been
under the impression that the 1mm rotor offset discrepancy was a trivial
matter. Okay, you can mill it a little and center it if you're
paranoid. Or you can leave it as is, and not really any harm done.
I've been thinking that one side's pistons just push a little further
out and it just doesn't add up to a real problem. I think most everyone
else thought that too.
So what if it's not 100% okay for that to happen? A little unbalanced
force on the rotor, translates to the hub, maybe puts a little abnormal
strain on the wheel bearing. And it makes strange noises? Maybe...
Okay, discuss.
-Cheers!
