Amen.   Racing Green was '97-01 and a dead ringer for the C4 green, which I think looks good (obviously - I HAD it!) - but rather dated on the D2 chassis.  '02 saw Irish Green, which - agreed - was muuuuuch more black and less 'pine' looking, and downright sexxxxxxaaaaaaay.  Very rare on an //S8, I know of one thus far.

Burg. was Andorra Red for '01, which was darker like the D1 Burg., and then changed to Burgundy Pearl or something like that for '02 - which IMO looked uberawesome.  Also rare, also know of but one.

Avus is simply one of the coolest colors known to man 8-).  It's THAT cool.  One of 100 '03s...

I always preferred the Irish Green Boner Pearl Effect.  So few carmakers can get green so right.

Also like that burgundy they came in, Dave.  :-)

Avus was my favorite of the 3 colors in '03. The wine/blood-red interior is the shiz wit the purple-silver exterior.

Bud's got a really nice Avus '03 mit 80k available hopefully within the coming week. Figured I'd give youses the heads up for the early shot.

Likely somewheres in the low/mid $19k's - nutty, esp. considering that's what I paid for my '01 1.75yrs. ago with 89k, which was a schmokin' deal at the time, and this is 2yrs. newer with more features.
