When my belly pan blew off at 135 mph, it cured my ac woes. Also cured that
case of chronic constipation.

Your explanation isn't entirely clear to me,? but it sounds like while you
are at speed, everything is fine.? While you're not moving, or?moving slow,
the compressor is on and off, and performance is poor.
If this is the case, I would suspect that you are tripping the high pressure
switch.? Pressure becomes excessive when there is not enough air moving past
the condenser at the front of the car.? Poor airflow means high pressure...
which means shut-down.? The most obvious suspects are bent fins, major bug
clogging of fins, or a bad fan clutch.
It is also possible that your system is overcharged.

This year its getting bad.
My 95 S6 compressor shuts down for a min or so when temp is around 80+
and maybe sun is out.
I check head codes and all I get is steady center flap code meaning
nothing I think.
I have changed multifunction sensor and even toped off freon.
If I'm moving over some 30mph or so ac works great if im in traffic
just rolling ac is on and off useless
Any I deal would help
thnx in advance
Chewy
