We have Kumho All Seasons on the S6 avant- I think they are AST but can't be certain without checking them. They've worked well for what we intended them for- car is wife's daily driver and has stock suspension. We previously had the Sumi HTR-Z's and the dry grip and sidewall stability of the Kumhos didn't seem to be a step backwards. Reasonable snow traction in the few times we've taken the S to the mountains- our A4 is the dedicated ski car and it gets full snows in the winter. They are at about 20K miles now and look to have maybe 5-10K to go.
