[s-cars] tapping noise on S6

hello all,
I started hearing some tapping noise coming from the motor on my S6 a little while ago. It is mostly noticable when the engine is worm, but goes away every now and then. After a little research I'm convinced it's caused by lifters. Car drives fine, pulls hard and is ok otherwise, how concrened should I be with this?
