[s-cars] FW: Troubleshoot a no start issue

I swapped out the crank & speed sensors from my other dead S6 (burnt
valve)... ...that was one of the first things I changed. It is conceivable
that they are kaput as well.
When I VAG'd the car, the only fault code was the 00513-Engine Speed Sensor
(G28) 03-00-No Signal, which of course is thrown because it fails to start.

Brooke:
Have you checked the timing sensors (reference and speed) sensors on
the transmission?
Does the ECU have any stored fault codes?
