[s-cars] Cooling system help needed

My guess is the after-run pump itself if it hasn't been replaced. The plastic where the hoses connect gets brittle and cracks, causing the leak. BTDT last Summer.

Check that first. It's easy to get at.

Subject: [s-cars] Cooling system help needed

Oh great ones...

The audi gods are displeased as I have not paid my obligations
recently. Nonetheless, I am a faithful pilgrim and will make proper
obeisance this weekend in manual labor under the hood and the
appropriate cursing and griminess.

I need some help trying to figure out which cooling hose has
ruptured....it would seem simple, as I have the ETKA running under
Parallels, but the diagrams are a bit vague for me...

The hose in question lives beneath the intake manifold and SEEMS to
connect from a small pipe to something which I can neither see nor
reach (possibly the aux. water pump?)

IF, I have the scenario right, do I need to order P/N: 034 121 063 C
or can I safely substitute an appropriate length of standard high
pressure/temp hose and clamp it in?

Thanks for any advice.

Best
