Dave...

The screw is steel and the cap is aluminum. Will backing out the screw
clean up the threads?

Subject: [s-cars] Tap size needed for waste gate screw?

Went to back off the wastegate screw yesterday and noticed that the top
threads are damaged, likely from whenever the cover plate was drilled
off.

Does anyone know the size of tap needed to to re-tap the waste gate?

Thanks!

Dave
