[s-cars] S-CAR-List Digest, Vol 61, Issue 10

FYI: QRS existed from around 2001 to 2005. It was comprised of three
Texas-based S-Car listers who used the internet, their engineering
backgrounds, ability to "wrench," and love of Audis to resell existing
products. They knew what worked because they'd built up their own S-Cars.
BIRA entered into a licensing agreement with them whereby we provided
brackets and hats and QRS pulled together all of the other parts (calipers,
pads, bolts, brake lines) necessary for a whole brake system and then sold
them as a kit. It was a great alternative for folks who simply wanted to
buy a complete kit. Like us, they all had full-time jobs and QRS was done
in their "spare time." They had a good run, and after a few years, decided
to move on to other things.
