[s-cars] avant rear hatch won't unlock

now that I have got the thing running I took it to an orchestra rehearsal
last night. I locked the rear hatch manually (I don't have the remote
anymore or at least can't put my hands on it and the central locking hasn't
worked since I got it running again, I've been locking it up manually, one
door at a time). I locked the rear hatch manually with the key. At the end
of the rehearsal I couldn't get the rear hatch to unlock/open. The avant (or
at least mine) doesn't have the remote unlock feature in the glove
compartment.
 
Try loading a string bass through the side door of an avant.

Any ideas how to fix it?
