Ron, If these are the "pie-plate" style of wheels (not the fat-fives), I've got these on my car for winter wheel use.  they are 8", not 8.5 (which my summers are).  



I can confirm they fit without issues, and my car has been lowered with the H&R springs and running 225/45/17's.

Gents, 

I'm looking at a set of 2000 Audi A6 4.2 17" stock wheels for snows.  The 
owner beleives that they are 8.5" wide with ET45 but will verify.  Tirerack 
says replacement wheels for that car are 8" or 8.5" width with ET35.  I'd 
like to use these on my 95 S6A but don't want to drive 100 mi each way to 
test fit and discover they won't work.  The price is right, but...... 

Anybody know if these would work?
