[s-cars] Snow tire shopping, blizzak vs Nokian vs? thoughts?

Calvin-

I just ordered a set of WRG2's for my S and for  my wife's old A4 to replace
our old WR's.  

I could not decide if the V over the H would be noticeable on these type of
soft tires.

Have you compared H and V to know for sure there is a noticeable difference.
The Nokian dealer says no but I have no first hand experience since I have
always ordered H.  

We are moving to the mountains of NC so the roads will have many more curves
then where we live now.

I do notice that  even hear both cars wear their front tires in the inside
and outside edges much faster then the mid section--but just assumed that is
part of using soft winter style tires that have soft sidewalls.

The WR's have been great for the type of intermittent snow we get hear in
the Mid Atlantic region.
