Having made and track tested a couple of kits myself I could not resist ROFL.

This picture http://i15.ebayimg.com/07/i/001/1d/2b/b0c6_1.JPG shows
bolts (with no washers) which look like from a local hardware store.
The OEM bolts with integrated washer must be used in this application.

Modifying the steering knuckle for one particular model only is the
least effective way of making money IMHO. It was probably done just
for the fun or as the proof of concept.
I respect the ability to weld new mounts with the required tolerances.
It is not trivial.

The relatively inexpensive GM destined, made in Italy by Brembo
calipers have been drawing tuners' attention for many years. The CTS-V
one is the best looking IMHO. However they absolutely don't fit any
Audi unless something is heavily modified or 400mm rotor is used.

For me it was trivial to modify the caliper

Despite the fact I did it as a proof of concept it appears to be cost
effective judging by the price of the kits sold by ECS tuning for
example. Modified caliper fits any Audi (with custom adapter bracket -
same as any other big brake kits are made).
