[s-cars] Fuel rail - recall question

Unfortunately, the recall was for the line from the fuel filter to the
flexible
line on the fuel rail. The earliest recall replaced that line that
goes down
behind the steering rack. The later fixes place a new line behind the
electronic cover and cut and crimped the ends of the old line closed.
If
the recall was done in that manner, you can see these crimped ends.

I think the hoses in question are part of the rail in the Audi part
system.
You should be able to find a fabricator to repair the connection at the
rail, or look for one in the marketplace. I think there have been some
advertised for sale recently as an alternative to buying a new part.
