Gents - 

Good luck.  I had the same problem 5 years ago (95.5 S6 90K miles then).  
I tried to involve the zone rep.  I never felt comfortable that the repair 
would be done at no cost to me so I would not let the dealer proceed with 
the repair.  Back then the repair would have been about $500 for the fuel 
rail and labor.  Rather I cut off the offending connectors and replaced
the lines with high pressure line and double clamps.  I have experienced only 
one leak since - cured by retightening the clamps.  German warranty service
sux, always has maybe always will.

Good advice Fred.

Mine started leaking about a year ago. Smelled the tail-tale odour of raw
fuel, pulled over and saw fuel leaking copiously at the swivel connection, a
slight push with my finger and it sprayed out.

The hose and fuel rail are all one piece and its not cheap. I noticed that
the replacement does not swivel.
