[s-cars] Help! Sunroof issues

Good advice.  My gremlins come out when it is hot, and when it is just
starting to rain.  Disconnecting the motor is advised.

Did you read the owners manual section on manual sunroof operation?   
You must disengage the motor/gearbox before you can
manually crank the sunroof closed.  Then, if you disconnect the plug  
to the motor, the sunroof will stay closed.
