Charlie,

This only means one thing, and it's not good -- I'm getting old,
too. : > ) or
was that ( .

There have been too many nice, basically stock S6 cars selling for
$5K or
$6K, and modified cars for not much more. It's very hard to sell a
car with
any issues, unless it goes cheap for someone's track car or parts car.

My guess right now is maybe $9K with updated information and good
inside and outside photos. Audifans marketplace is the place to get the
best play, but you need to keep updating and bumping it up or it fades
down the list. Get the marketing plan right at the start because the
longer
the car is on the market, the harder it is to sell, since buyers
start thinking
something is wrong with the price or the vehicle. If you keep the
photos on
your web site, your reputation will help the sale. Make you a sale page
there and post links to it here and audiworld, etc.

If you are doing the work to change out the parts, and the stock
parts are
handy, you can realize some return, but, IMHO not enough to justify
the work.
The parts probably wouldn't bring more than $3K -- the wheels and
springs
not worth the effort to change out unless you just enjoy that work.
Yes, I
know what's in that stuff, I have 2 sets of those wheels here :

springs take a lot of work to change.

Not many in the market for these cars are looking for a stock
version, but
removing the parts shouldn't hurt the price much. But, I think your
chance of
selling quickly for a good price are better as the car is equipped now.

It's better to keep the car and drive it. It will make you feel
younger. : > )
