[s-cars] Looking for input/info on a lubricant product called STM-3

Gentz,

I received the following inquiry from a respected member of a 
porsche 914 list I'm on, I'm copying it here in hopes some of you
may have some information on the product he is inquiring about.


"Had a couple of guys walk in the store the other day and talk to us
about becoming a dealer for STM-3.  This is a ceramic coating (ceramic
lubricant coating) that can be added to any automotive lubricant with
the promise of increased torque, compression, horse power and fuel
economy and reduced emissions, carbon deposits, vibrations, and wear.  

They posted some "test" results on a web site and according to their
Numbers this stuff is wonderful.    

I Goggled STM-3 and found numerous articles and surprisingly, nothing
That screamed "snake oil".   

Have any of you seen similar products and what do you think of them?"
